New York Red Bulls forward Thierry Henry was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Week for Week 30 of the MLS season on Monday.

The award is the fifth of the season for Henry, who captured the Week 30 honor with a sterling effort in a 4-1 win over Toronto FC on Saturday.

Henry assisted on New York's first three goals before scoring one of his own late in the match to give the Frenchman 14 goals and 12 assists on the campaign.

The former Arsenal man won three straight Player of the Week awards earlier this season before earning the honor again two weeks ago.

The MLS Player of the Week award is selected each week by the North American Soccer Reporters. The group consists of members of online, print, television, radio media.
