The Philadelphia Eagles decided to place center Jason Kelce on injured reserve Tuesday.

Kelce fully tore the MCL and partially tore the ACL in his right knee during Sunday's 24-23 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

The second-year center out of Cincinnati had a diagnostic arthroscope on Tuesday. Team orthopedic surgeon Dr. Peter DeLuca decided to repair Kelce's MCL.

Eagles athletic trainer Rick Burkholder said that Kelce will need an ACL reconstruction in three to four weeks.

The Eagles signed veteran offensive lineman Steve Vallos to take Kelce's roster spot.

Vallos has played in 40 career games (eight starts) with the Seahawks and Browns. The Wake Forest product spent the entire offseason with Philadelphia.

Dallas Reynolds will start at center for the Eagles on Sunday against Arizona.
