Foxboro, MA – New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez left Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals in the first quarter with an ankle injury.
Hernandez grabbed at his right ankle after getting rolled up on during a tackle. Tom Brady had completed a short pass to Julian Edelman and Hernandez was blocking down field when Edelman fell on his leg. Hernandez required help while he slowly limped off the field.
The team said Hernandez's return is questionable.
