Juan Martin del Potro will not play reverse singles for Argentina on Sunday in the Davis Cup semifinal against the Czech Republic because of a nagging wrist injury.

Del Potro gave Argentina its first point in Friday's singles play with a 6-4, 6-4, 6-2 win over Radek Stepanek, but on Sunday will be replaced by Carlos Berlocq in the opening reverse singles against Tomas Berdych.

The Czechs entered Sunday with a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-five tie after Berdych won his singles match Friday and teamed with Stepanek to capture Saturday's doubles rubber against Berlocq and Eduardo Schwank.
