Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings sat out practice on Tuesday.
Jennings injured his groin on the final drive of Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
"We're hoping that Greg heals and he can play," said Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy. "He's probably one of the toughest guys in this locker room, so if he can play, he will play, and we'll see what happens after that."
Also missing practice on Tuesday were linebacker Terrell Manning (concussion) and running back James Starks (toe).
The Packers host the Bears (1-0) on Thursday night.
