Ty Wigginton homered and scored twice as the Philadelphia Phillies downed the Colorado Rockies, 7-4, to sweep a day/night doubleheader at Citizens Bank Park.

John Mayberry Jr. knocked in the game-winning run in the ninth inning to lift the Phillies to a 3-2 win over the Colorado in the early portion.

Ryan Howard added a pair of RBI in the nightcap for Philadelphia, which won its fourth straight.

Tyler Cloyd allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk in a four-inning start for the Phillies, but six pitchers combined to shut down Colorado from there. B.J. Rosenberg (1-2) received the win with a scoreless sixth inning.

Jonathan Papelbon worked around a two-out double in the ninth to secure his 32nd save of the year.

Chris Nelson hit a three-run home run for the Rockies, who have dropped six of seven.

Josh Roenicke (4-2) surrendered four runs -- two earned -- on five hits in 1 1/3 innings to take the loss.

Philadelphia struck first in the second inning when Wigginton hit a leadoff double and came home two batters later on Michael Martinez's base hit.

Colorado, though, answered in the third inning with four runs to take the lead. Following three straight two-out singles by Jordan Pacheco, Tyler Colvin and Ramon Hernandez, scoring Pacheco, Nelson hammered a ball over the left- field wall to hand the Rockies a 4-1 advantage.

The Phillies cut into their deficit in the fifth inning after Mayberry reached first with two outs on a fielding error by Nelson and advanced to second on a Chase Utley single. Both runners advanced a base on Roenicke's throwing error on a pickoff attempt to second base before coming home on Howard's single off the wall in right field.

Howard was thrown out at second while trying to stretch the hit into a double to end the inning.

Philadelphia then regained the lead in the sixth inning, starting with Wigginton's leadoff blast to left field.

Martinez and pinch-hitter Carlos Ruiz followed with singles to place runners on the corners before Matt Reynolds was summoned from the bullpen and surrendered a pinch-hit, RBI single on a dribbler towards third base by Kevin Frandsen.

A Jimmy Rollins base hit to left field loaded the bases with one out, but new pitcher Edgmer Escalona fanned Mayberry and induced a grounder to second by Utley to end the inning and keep it a 5-4 game.

After Colorado left the tying run on second base in the top of the seventh, the Phillies added to their lead in the bottom of the frame when Domonic Brown hit a two-out double into the right-field corner, advanced to third on shortstop Jonathan Herrera's fielding error and came home on a Ruiz base hit up the middle.

Nate Schierholtz followed with a bloop single to right field to plate Martinez for a 7-4 lead.
