Juan Martin del Potro will lead host Argentina against a Tomas Berdych-led Czech Republic squad in a Davis Cup semifinal showdown next week.

The best-of-five affair will be held from September 14-16 on red clay at Parque Roca in Buenos Aires.

The Argentines, captained by Martin Jaite, will feature the eighth-ranked 2009 U.S. Open champion del Potro, world No. 11 Juan Monaco, Carlos Berlocq and Eduardo Schwank.

The Czechs are guided by Jaroslav Navratil, who will have the seventh-ranked 2010 Wimbledon runner-up Berdych, Radek Stepanek, Lukas Rosol and Ivo Minar at his disposal next week. Rosol shocked Spanish great Rafael Nadal in a second- round match at Wimbledon earlier this summer.

The Czechs are 3-1 all-time versus the Argentines, including a win in their last meeting in a quarterfinal in Ostrava in 2009.

Argentina lost to Spain in last year's World Group final in Seville, falling to 0-4 in Davis Cup finals.

The Argentina-Czech Republic winner will meet the Spain-United States victor in the 2012 final in November.
