Real Madrid's Coentrao receives four-game ban

Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao has been suspended for four games after his red card against Getafe over the weekend.

Coentrao did not feature in the 2-1 defeat for Madrid, but was dismissed in the final minutes of the contest after insulting the match official from the bench.

The 24-year-old will now miss Real's next four games, including Wednesday's Spanish Supercopa second leg against Barcelona as well as La Liga contests with Granada, Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano.
