Abdelaziz Barrada scored the match-winner in the 75th minute as Getafe shocked Real Madrid, 2-1, on Sunday at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez in La Liga.

Gonzalo Higuain fired Real in front after 26 minutes, but Juan Valera pulled a goal back in the 53rd and Barrada followed in the 75th as Getafe pulled off a huge upset in the second week of the season.

Madrid tied its opener against Valencia last week, 1-1, and lost the first leg of the Spanish Supercup to Barcelona, 3-2, midweek. Higuain converted a pass from Angel Di Maria inside the half-hour mark as Real eyed its first win.

Barrada set up the first goal with a pass to Valera, who scored to the bottom- left corner. Adrian Colunga provided the final pass on the winning goal, and Barrada made no mistake from 16 yards with a high finish to the middle.

Fabio Coentrao received his marching orders for a straight red from the bench, as Real Madrid was left frustrated and on one point - already six behind rival Barcelona - after just two weeks.

Getafe won its first match of the season.
