Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia Phillies activated pitcher Jeremy Horst off the paternity leave list on Thursday.
Horst has made 16 relief appearances for the Phillies this season, pitching to a 1-0 record with a 1.06 earned run average.
Philadelphia optioned pitcher Michael Schwimer to Triple-A Lehigh Valley to make room on the roster.
Schwimer went 2-1 with a 4.46 ERA in 35 appearances out of the bullpen this year.
