The Colorado Rockies placed outfielder Michael Cuddyer on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a right oblique strain.

Cuddyer, who missed 11 games because of the oblique strain and came off the disabled list on Thursday, aggravated the injury on Saturday.

The outfielder is hitting .260 with 16 home runs and 58 RBI in his first season with the Rockies.

Colorado recalled outfielder Andrew Brown from Triple-A Colorado Springs to take Cuddyer's place on the roster.

In 11 games in the majors this season, Brown has gone 5-for-24 with three RBI.
