For the second straight Olympics, USA and Spain will meet in the men's basketball gold medal game.

Prior to the start of the 2012 London Olympics, many prognosticators predicted the United States and Spain would battle for the gold medal in men's basketball. Those predictions turned out to be correct as the teams will meet in the gold medal game on Sunday.

Team USA knocked off Argentina 109-83 in the semifinal to advance to the gold medal game. It was the United States' second win against Argentina in the Olympics. Kevin Durant led the way for the Americans with 19 points while LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony each scored 18.

Spain reached the gold medal game with a 67-59 win over Russia. The win avenged Spains' 77-74 loss to Russia earlier in the Olympics. Pau Gasol once again led the way for Spain, scoring 16 points. The game with the United States will be a rematch of the 2008 Olympic gold medal game, which team USA won 118-107.

Sunday's game is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. ET and will be broadcast live on NBC. The game will also be available via a live online stream at NBCOlympics.com
