Women's gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics continues Thursday with the finals for the all-around competition, with two American's vying for a medal.

With the women's gymnastics team competition completed, the focus shifts to individual events and the finals of the all-around event to be held on Thursday.

After capturing gold on Tuesday, Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman -- members of the new Fab Five United States women's gymnastics team -- will compete for their own medal.

Douglas's and Raisman's United States teammate, Jordyn Wieber, was one of the favorites to win the all-around competition coming into the 2012 Summer Olympics. Wieber will watch from the sidelines after she failed to qualify in the preliminary competition.

Douglas and Raisman's greatest competitor Thursday is expected to be Russia's Viktoria Komova.
