Wednesday at the Summer Olympics brought with it one of the most exciting swimming races yet at the Aquatics Center. American Nathan Adrian won the men's 100m freestyle in the narrowest of margins, edging the favorite, Australia's James "The Missile" Magnussen, by just 0.01 seconds. And watching all the drama were Adrian's teammates, Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps. Fortunately, there was a camera there to capture their immediate reactions.

Both were in the ready room, awaiting their semifinal swim in the 200m IM, and both were so pumped, bro.

Since GIFs do not include sound, I have taken the liberty to transcribe the exchange between Lochte and Phelps:

Phelps and Lochte will swim in the finals of the 200m IM Thursday at 3:19 p.m.
