Swimming action continues Thursday with the United States going for four more gold medals.
The United States swimming team has dominated competition through the first five days of Olympic action, and will get a chance to add to their swimming medal count on Thursday.
The U.S. team has racked up 18 swimming medals so far, more than twice as many as the next closest country. China and Australia are tied for the second-most swimming medals with eight. The United States also leads in golds with eight.
The United States will have a chance to increase their swimming medal count Thursday, when four more golds will be up for grabs. The United States has two entrants in the women's 200-meter breaststroke, including world-record holder Rebecca Soni. Ryan Lochte will attempt to add another medal in the 200m backstroke and will also race against Michael Phelps in the 200m individual medley. Teen sensation Missy Franklin will have another shot at gold in the women's 100m freestyle.

All four gold-medal finals will be broadcast on tape delay beginning at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
