Lin Qingfeng of China won the men's 69 kg weightlifting gold medal after lifting a combined 344 kg between the snatch and the clean and jerk on Tuesday at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He defeated Triyatno of Indonesia, who took silver, and Razvan Martin of Romania, who took bronze, for China's 13th gold medal of the Summer Games, and their 23rd medal overall.

Lin's clean and jerk of 187 kg was a hair below Triyatno's 188 kg, and five other lifters were able to top 180 kg on the lift. The 24-year-old dominated the snatch, however, lifting an event-best 157 kg. Only Martin came close, lifting 152 kg.

The United States and China are now tied for the lead in the medal count, with 23 total medals each. Martin earned Indonesia its second medal of the Olympics, both of which have come in weightlifting. Romania now has five total medals in London.
