Baltimore, MD – The Baltimore Orioles selected the contract of pitcher Dana Eveland from Triple-A Norfolk and optioned infielder Steve Tolleson to the Tides on Thursday.
Eveland went 0-1 with a 4.73 earned run average in 14 games (two starts) with the Orioles from May 11 through July 15.
Tolleson hit .185 in 24 games for Baltimore.
