Canucks agree to terms with Weise

Vancouver, BC – The Vancouver Canucks agreed to terms with forward Dale Weise on a one-year contract Wednesday, avoiding arbitration.

Weise tallied four goals, four assists and 81 penalty minutes in 68 games for the Canucks last season.

The 23-year-old did not record a point while racking up 19 penalty minutes through 10 games during his rookie season with the New York Rangers in the 2010-11 season.
