St. Louis, MO – The Chicago Cubs recalled left-handed pitcher Jeff Beliveau from Triple-A Iowa on Sunday and optioned pitcher Rafael Dolis to the same club.
Beliveau, 25, was selected in the 18th round by the Cubs in 2008 and went 4-5 with a 4.05 earned run average in 34 relief appearances this season for Iowa.
In 176 minor league games, Beliveau has compiled a 21-14 record with a 2.87 ERA and 10 saves.
Dolis, 24, has struggled in two stints with the Cubs this season, going 2-4 with a 6.44 ERA.
