Sixers ink C Kwame Brown

Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia 76ers signed center Kwame Brown on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brown, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft, 6.8 points and 6.3 rebounds in nine games with the Golden State Warriors last season.

The 30-year-old has averaged 6.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in 11 seasons with Washington, the Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis, Detroit, Charlotte and Golden State.
