Twins place Capps on DL again

Minneapolis, MN – The Minnesota Twins placed pitcher Matt Capps back on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with right shoulder inflammation.

Capps is 1-4 this season with a 3.81 earned run average in 29 innings. The Twins' closer has 14 saves.

He was also on the DL with right shoulder inflammation from June 24 until returning to game action July 14 game against Oakland.

The Twins will recall right-handed pitcher Nick Blackburn from Triple-A Rochester.
