Sophia Young totaled 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Shameka Christon added 17 and Jia Perkins posted 12 points off the bench for the hosts, who improved to 7-5 on the year.

Monica Wright poured in 18 points and Lindsay Whalen had 15 for the Lynx, who lost for just the second time in 15 games to start the campaign.

Minnesota was never quite able to reverse a lackluster first quarter, which saw San Antonio emerge with a 35-22 advantage.
