Uncasville, CT – Tina Charles had 22 points and 11 rebounds, Kara Lawson scored 21 and the Sun routed the Dream, 92-73, on Sunday.
Lawson made all five of her three-point attempts while Asjha Jones added 17 points and Renee Montgomery chipped in 14. Connecticut shot 61.7 percent from the field, went 7-of-13 from beyond the arc, and led by as many as 20.
Angel McCoughtry scored a game-high 23 for Atlanta and Sancho Lyttle finished with 21 and eight rebounds.
