Baltimore, MD – The Philadelphia Phillies have selected the contract of pitcher B.J. Rosenberg from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Rosenberg went 1-0 with a 1.74 ERA in 11 games for Lehigh Valley this year. He will make his MLB debut when he appears in a game for the Phillies.
Philadelphia also optioned pitcher Raul Valdes to Lehigh Valley. He was 2-0 with a 2.13 ERA in 11 games for the big league club this season.
