Seattle, WA – Seattle Mariners starter Kevin Millwood left Friday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers prior to the start of the seventh inning with a strained right groin.
Millwood was cruising along on Friday and had a no-hitter going through six innings, but he appeared to injure himself while throwing his warm-up tosses and removed himself from the game.
Charlie Furbush took over on the mound for Seattle.
Millwood, 37, is 3-5 with a 3.57 earned-run average in 12 starts this season for the Mariners.
