Phoenix, AZ – The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated first baseman Lyle Overbay from the paternity leave list on Friday.
Overbay, 35, is hitting .339 with two home runs and six RBI in 28 games this season.
Outfielder A.J. Pollock was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Thursday to make room for Overbay on the roster.
