Andy Murray and David Ferrer were easy winners in third-round play Saturday at the French Open.

The fourth-seeded Murray cruised to a 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 win over Colombia's Santiago Giraldo, while the sixth-seeded Ferrer powered past Russian Mikhail Youzhny in a 6-0, 6-2, 6-2 rout.

Also Saturday, eighth-seeded Janko Tipsarevic topped Frenchman Julien Benneteau, 6-3, 7-5, 6-4, and will next face 12th-seeded Spaniard Nicolas Almagro, who rolled to a 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 victory over Argentina's Leonardo Mayer.

Rafael Nadal will continue his quest for a third straight French title and seventh overall later Saturday against Argentine Eduardo Schwank.
