Seattle, WA – The Seattle Mariners activated catcher Miguel Olivo off the 15-day disabled list Thursday.
Olivo was placed on the DL on May 1 with a strained right groin.
He was hitting .210 with three home runs and seven RBI through 23 games this year, but had an eight-game hit streak when he was injured.
The Mariners optioned outfielder Casper Wells to Triple-A Tacoma to make room on the roster.
