Phillies place Rollins on paternity list

The Philadelphia Phillies placed shortstop Jimmy Rollins on the paternity list and recalled catcher Erik Kratz from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Rollins, who has hit .229 through 42 games this season, can stay on the list for up to three days. Second baseman Freddy Galvis played shortstop in his absence Monday night, while Mike Fontenot played second base.

Kratz has played three games for Philadelphia this season, going hitless in three at-bats.
