The WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship will return to the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain in 2013.

The event, which was won by Hunter Mahan this year, has been played at Dove Mountain since 2007 and moved to the Ritz-Carlton course in 2009.

It was speculated that the tournament could move to Tucson National, where the Tucson Open was played, but it appears that the event will stay at Dove Mountain for the foreseeable future.

"We had an incredibly successful 2012 Accenture Match Play Championship, with great crowds, beautiful weather and tremendous support from the Tucson community," said PGA Tour executive vice president of championship management, David Pillsbury. "We're excited to continue the long-standing tradition of world-class golf in this marketplace at least through 2014, and we think The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is an outstanding venue to host the Accenture Match Play Championship again next year."
