Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson told reporters Monday after practice that he is ready to go for Game 6 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the New York Rangers.

Alfredsson has been out of action since Game 2, when he was elbowed in the head by New York's Carl Hagelin and suffered a concussion. The illegal hit resulted in a three-game suspension for Hagelin, who will also return Monday.

Ottawa heads into Monday night's game with a 3-2 series lead.
