Feliz outduels Beavan, Rangers nip Mariners

Arlington, TX – Neftali Feliz worked seven scoreless innings and David Murphy drove in the lone run in the second inning as Texas slipped by Seattle, 1-0, in the second of four between the clubs from Rangers Ballpark.

Feliz (1-0) gave up four hits and walked two while fanning four for the Rangers, who have taken the first two in the set and improved to 4-1 overall.

Blake Beavan (0-1) was the hard-luck loser, allowing a single run on six hits for the Mariners, who had won three of four coming into the series.
