Capitals recall F Eakin

Arlington, VA – The Washington Capitals on Wednesday recalled forward Cody Eakin from their AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears.

Eakin, 20, has registered four goals, eight points and a plus-two rating in 29 NHL games this year.

In his first full professional season, Eakin leads all rookies on Hershey in goals, assists and points.
