Arnold Palmer was released from a hospital Monday after an overnight stay for a blood pressure problem.

Palmer missed the end of his tournament on Sunday at Bay Hill because of the issue. He routinely greets players just off the edge of the 18th green as they complete their rounds, and then is part of the trophy presentation as well.

The 82-year-old legend had been having his blood pressure checked routinely and on Sunday afternoon it was suggested that he check into a hospital for further evaluation.

After spending the night for observation, Palmer was released from the hospital on Monday.
