Winning cures everything -- and it's not bad for the wallet, either.

Alabama football coach Nick Saban, coming off his second national title in the last three seasons, has received a raise and contract extension through 2020.

Saban will earn an extra $550,000 under the new deal, bringing his pay for next season to more than $3.31 million, according to newspaper reports in Alabama.

The compensation committee of the board of trustees met Monday to approve the terms.

The Crimson Tide are 55-12 since Saban was hired as head coach in 2007 and won FBS titles following the 2009 and '11 seasons.
