Peoria, AZ – The San Diego Padres announced on Thursday that chief executive officer Jeff Moorad has stepped down from his post.
In the interim, team president and chief operating officer Tom Garfinkel will also serve as the Padres' CEO.
Moorad will remain with the organization as vice chairman, overseeing the development of a FOX affiliate in San Diego.
