C.J. Wilson allowed three hits in five shutout innings, but the Kansas City Royals rallied for a 6-4 win over the Angels on Tuesday.

Wilson struck out five and walked none. He has allowed one run in 14 innings in four spring training starts after signing a five-year $77.5 million contract with the Angels in December.

The Royals scored four runs and five hits in the sixth off Angels reliever Jordan Walden, who retired only one of the six batters he faced.

Billy Butler's RBI double keyed the rally.

Royals right-hander Felipe Paulino gave up a run and three hits in four innings, while striking out four and walking none.

Vernon Wells homered in the eighth for the Angels.
