Joey Logano will start on the pole for Saturday's Ford EcoBoost 300 Nationwide Series race after posting the fastest lap in qualifying at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Logano turned a lap at 124.210 mph for his first Nationwide pole at Bristol and the 17th of his career. He has yet to win a race in the series at this 0.533-mile, high-banked track but did finish a close second to Kyle Busch last August.

Trevor Bayne captured the outside pole with a lap at 123.158 mph, while his Roush Fenway Racing teammate, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., qualified third. Stenhouse, the defending Nationwide champion, won last Saturday's race at Las Vegas.

Elliott Sadler, the current points leader, and Brian Scott rounded out the top-five. Sadler has finished no worse than third in the first three races this season.

Kevin Harvick, a five-time Nationwide race winner at Bristol, qualified sixth, followed by Brad Keselowski and Busch, who has won the last three races here.

Rookie Austin Dillon and Justin Allgaier were ninth and 10th, respectively.

Danica Patrick qualified 27th in what will be her second start at Bristol. Patrick finished 33rd here one year ago.

David Reutimann, Morgan Shepherd and Derrike Cope failed to qualify.

The 300-lap race at Bristol is scheduled to start just after 2 p.m. (ET).
