Philadelphia 76ers center Spencer Hawes returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday for the first time since February 6.

The 23-year-old has missed the Sixers' last 17 games with a strained left Achilles after missing 11 earlier in the season with both the Achilles injury and a back issue.

Philadelphia will likely appreciate his return. The 76ers were 12-2 in Hawes' appearances this seasons. They were riding a three-game winning streak entering Wednesday's contest against Indiana.

The University of Washington product averaged 10.5 points and 8.3 rebounds before his most recent injury.
