Freshman forward Shareta Brown, who also made the all-tournament team, led Detroit (20-13) with 22 points and nine rebounds before fouling out. Brown had 16 points in the first half but was held in check as the Phoenix rallied from an early deficit.

The Titans led by two early in the second half when starting guard Senee Shearer, who had 14 points in 23 minutes, left the game because of injury.

The Phoenix then went on an 11-2 run to take the lead for good.

Detroit, which won 19 of 24 games after starting the season 1-8, handed Green Bay its lone regular-season loss Feb. 9.

The Titans led by as many as nine in the first half. Brown was dominant in the low post with seven first-half rebounds.

Freshman guard Megan Lukan scored a career-high 20 points for Green Bay (30-1), which heads into the NCAA tournament on a 10-game winning streak. The Phoenix had only one regular-season loss for the second straight year.
