Wesley completes switch to Palmeiras

Bremen, Germany – Brazilian midfielder Wesley completed his transfer from Werder Bremen to Palmeiras on Thursday, according to the German club.

The 24-year-old Wesley had agreed to a switch weeks ago, but the transfer was not sealed until "all bank guarantees have been received, which were necessary for the protection of the transfer," said Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs.

Wesley, who has two caps for Brazil, joined Bremen in 2010 from Santos, but made just 25 Bundesliga appearances with the club.
