Uniondale, NY – Uniondale, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Islanders activated defenseman Travis Hamonic from injured reserve on Friday.
The Isles placed Hamonic on IR on Jan. 28, after having missed eight games with a concussion he suffered on Jan. 12 against Dallas.
The 23-year-old recorded one goal and eight assists in 47 games before his setback.
