The Winnipeg Jets placed leading goal-scorer Evander Kane on injured reserve Tuesday.

The 20-year-old winger recently suffered a concussion and the team is unsure how long he will be sidelined.

In 46 games this season, Kane has registered 18 goals -- he potted 19 in 73 games last year -- and ranks second on the team with 31 points.

To fill his roster spot, the Jets recalled forward Aaron Gagnon from St. John's of the American Hockey League.
