The Broncos promoted wide receiver D'Andre Goodwin to the active roster Tuesday, while placing fullback Spencer Larsen on injured reserve.

Larsen played in all 16 games for the Broncos during the regular season, but suffered a sprained knee during their Week 17 loss to Kansas City.

Goodwin, an undrafted rookie, spent most of the season on the team's practice roster. He will provide depth at the position for Saturday's AFC Divisional Playoff game against the top-seeded Patriots, which will be needed because Eric Decker is expected to miss the contest with a knee injury. The second- year receiver suffered the injury in this past weekend's overtime victory against Pittsburgh.

Additionally, Denver signed wide receiver Tim Toone to the practice squad.
