Alabama won the BCS National Championship Game on Monday and also topped the final Associated Press poll.

The Crimson Tide (12-1) crushed the former top-ranked LSU Tigers, 21-0, for its 14th title and earned 55 of a possible 60 first-place votes.

LSU (13-1) still got one vote for its remarkable regular season, while Oklahoma State (12-1) finished No. 3 overall after getting edged by Alabama in the final BCS standings.

The Cowboys, who picked up the remaining four first-place votes, beat Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl, dropping the Cardinal from fourth to seventh in the poll. Oregon jumped up to the fourth spot, while Arkansas was fifth.

USC, Stanford, Boise State, South Carolina and Wisconsin ranked No. 6 through 10, while the second 10 consisted of Michigan State, Michigan, Baylor, TCU, Kansas State, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Houston, Georgia and Southern Miss.

Virginia Tech, Clemson, Florida State, Nebraska and Cincinnati rounded out the top-25.
