The Tampa Bay Lightning signed forward Tom Pyatt year contract extension on Monday, keeping him with the team through 14 season.

Pyatt, 24, has recorded a career-high three goals and two assists in 35 games this season, his first with the Lightning. He spent parts of the last two seasons with the Canadiens.

Selected by the Rangers in the fourth round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Pyatt has totaled seven goals and 10 assists in 136 career games.
