Manu Ginobili injures hand

Minneapolis, MN – San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili suffered a fractured fifth metacarpal in his left hand during Monday's loss to the Timberwolves.

Ginobili left the game in the second quarter after being called for a reach-in foul and grabbing his left hand in obvious pain. He will be further evaluated in San Antonio on Tuesday.

Entering Monday, Ginobili was averaging 19.8 points per game on 60.5 percent shooting. The oft-injured Argentine played in a career-high 80 games a season ago.
