Texans survive Bengals, capture AFC South

Cincinnati, OH – T.J. Yates' touchdown pass to Kevin Walter 19 victory over the Bengals and the first playoff berth in franchise history.

The Texans, who won their seventh consecutive game and improved to 10-3, clinched the AFC South title after the Titans lost to the Saints, falling to 7-6.

Yates made his second consecutive start and led Houston to another win, hitting Walter over the middle with a six-yard pass. The Texans got into scoring position thanks to a pass interference call on the Bengals with 12 seconds to play.
