Kings D Mitchell placed on injured reserve

Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Kings placed defenseman Willie Mitchell on injured reserve on Thursday.

Mitchell suffered a lower body injury during a December 1st game against the Panthers. He has played 25 games this season, recording one goal and five assists.

The Kings also activated defenseman Alec Martinez from injured reserve. In 16 games this season, he has two goals.
