Arturo Alvarez, Carlos Mendes, and Danleigh Entry Draft on Monday.

Alvarez, 26, was taken by Chivas USA after just one season with Real Salt Lake. He had joined the Rio Tinto club in last year's Re-Entry Draft and made eight starts for head coach Jason Kreis in 2011, but registered just one assist.

Mendes, who turns 32 later this month, has spent his entire six-year career in New York and remains the final link to the club's days when it was known as the MetroStars. Mendes started 16 matches last season and 20 in 2010, often deputizing when Tim Ream was away on international duty. He was selected by the Columbus Crew.

Borman, 25, is set to join his third club since the beginning of the calendar year as he was picked up by the New England Revolution. Borman began the year with Red Bull New York before being shipped to Toronto FC as a part of the Dwayne De Rosario deal in April.

Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Draft resumes on Monday, Dec. 12, as teams can select remaining available players and commence contract negotiations for the 2012 season.
